Unemployment goes up at the start of the global recession and is going back to pre-recession levels now that the recession is over. So obvious this has nothing at all to do with the recession, it's obvious welfare reforms that did it.

1 in 7 people are now 'self employed' - which means they get Working Tax Credits instead of JSA.

The benefit bill is going down nor is the income tax take going up.
