A benefits cheat has been ordered to hand over a £100,000 nest egg he had tucked away. Kevin Gibney, from Hove, concealed a small fortune from the authorities while claiming benefits, but he was finally caught after £35,000 was found hidden inside a cushion in his dog's basket while he was in prison.
He has been given three months to hand over the remaining £91,525 he had hidden, or go to prison for two years.
